7 Fish in 80-100 FOW

A beautiful morning sunrise started us off today on our way to 7 fish between 80-100 feet of water. The surface temperatures are finally starting to warm up (in the low 70s) and a theromocline is finally showing up down about 35 feet down. Stabilizing temperatures are starting to keep the fish more consistent and in shallower water.

Most fish came on dodgers and spin-n-glo’s right down near the bottom. All but one fish today were Lake Trout (the other was a nice 12lb steelhead).

Starting to mark bait fish suspended in the water column down about 50 feet. This bodes well for upcoming fishing trips!

Another trip tomorrow morning when we will go catch some more.
