Weather isn’t cooperating, just a trip Friday evening on Labor Day weekend, but we caught fish. 7 Kings and 1 Steelhead for the evening trip.
Hoping the weather will get a bit better and let us get some more end of the year fishing in!

A quiet week of fishing, only one charter this week with rough weather kicking us off the water. Had a great trip on the 24th with 13 fish that were all big steelhead, coho, and kings making a great variety for the ice chest.
This week started to show an increase in the reliability of fish and the numbers caught. Average was closer to the 10 fish per trip mark, with both morning and afternoon producing fish.
Six trips this week kept us going, but we can always do more and get more fish in for customers!
Most of the fish were set up around 90-100 FOW as they start to set up for the fall run.
A few trips this week…one on Sunday, one on Wednesday, a morning and afternoon trip on Friday, and a morning trip on Saturday. Had to cancel a couple of the other days due to some rough weather, but we put some fish on board the days we did get out.
Trips were averaging 6-10 fish, with the best action on the morning trips.
Most of the fish were coming in 80-140 FOW.
Starting to look to the end of the summer when the fish will start moving into shallow water and staging for the run up the river.

Wow! What a day after a great week of fishing. Tough day with a great group that fishes with us every year. Thankfully the fish we can gut were exciting big Steelhead. They put on quite a jumping show. Two Steelies in the ten – twelve pound range. Best pair I have seen this year.
