Real Nice Size Fish – Nearly a 20 Pound King

Nice group that has fished with us for a couple of years in a row.  Missed a few Lake Trout early and we were sitting with a really bad batting average at 8:45 am (Left the dock at 7:00).  Only one Lake Trout in the box for Five Bites.  Caught a couple of juveniles that did not make the 20 inch keeper range.  So I heard about Kings being caught out a little deeper.  West we decided to go.  We were rewarded with the biggest King of the year so far.  A 18-19 pounder – not quite a 20 pounder but close.  Real nice Fish.  Also, one Laker tipped the scale at 17 pounds.  Big fish just not a lot of them for us today.  Caught 6 sent 2 back to Momma to get a few more meals to reach the legal length.  Fished early in 95-103 foot of water and went West to 160.  Marks were good on the graph around 120-135.  Sorry everyone (Jason) no pictures – Yeah I know what your thinking.  Will try to get pics next time.  Enjoy your day!
